Sen. Shelley Moore Capito is seeking a third term. She won the May 12 primary with 66.5% over state Sen. Tom Willis. Former Morgantown councilwoman Rachel Fetty Anderson won the Democratic primary with 33.2% over a field including former state Senate president Jeff Kessler.
